Like every year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) introduced a number of new courses for students. From BTech Engineering in Physics at IIT-Indore and IIT-Patna to a dual degree in quantum technology at IIT Bombay, the choices for the students are many. Take a look at these courses and their structure and find out which one will suit you the best.
IIT Indore
This year IIT-Indore launched a maximum number of new courses — from BTech in Engineering Physics, BTech in Mathematics and Computing to BTech in Space Science and Engineering. IIT Indore will commence admissions into these courses from the 2023 academic session onwards. Admission to these programmes will be done on the basis of JEE Advanced score. Additionally, candidates must have completed Class 12 (or equivalent) examination from any recognised state or central board.
IIT Patna
IIT Patna has also launched a new BTech programme in Engineering Physics. The primary features of the programme include providing sound training in physics and exposing them to frontier technologies. The course aims to blend contemporary physics and electrical engineering, creating professionals who are equally comfortable with both science and technology.
